About the Advocates Community Behavioral Health Center
Advocates Community Behavioral Health Center, located at 675 Main Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a doctor and health institution dedicated to helping individuals with autism, brain injuries, mental health challenges, intellectual disabilities, and substance use issues lead healthy and happy lives within the community. They work closely with individuals, families, and communities to develop innovative solutions to life's challenges.
The center offers a wide range of programs and support services for individuals and families facing disabilities and other difficulties. In collaboration with partner organizations like HMEA and Family Continuity, Advocates strives to provide culturally responsive and person-centered services to support individuals and families.
One of their initiatives focuses on keeping young people out of the juvenile justice system, with affiliate Family Continuity playing a crucial role in this effort. Additionally, Advocates connects community volunteers with individuals they support through The Friendship Project℠, offering opportunities for volunteers to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
The center relies on support from the community to continue providing essential programs and services to children, adults, and families. By collaborating with partners and organizations across the community, Advocates works to create better solutions for individuals in need.
Rockland Trust, located at 1881 Worcester Road in Framingham, MA, is a key supporter of Advocates' mission to strengthen communities and improve the quality of life for individuals and families. For more information, you can contact Advocates at (508) 628-6300 or visit their website.

Reviews of Advocates Community Behavioral Health Center
"Super helpful staff. Google says they are closed weekends but they are in fact open 9-5 Sat & Sun. Entrance is in the back of the building through the lot."
"Shame on these people!! We thought we were calling to make an appointment for therapy per our doctor's recommendation, but instead they CALLED A SECTION 12 ON US BEHIND OUR BACK, WITHOUT EVEN TALKING TO MY CHILD. OUR OWN DOCTOR CLEAR ANY IMMEDIATE DANGER, AND WE MADE A PLAN. We called Advocate purely trying to get a therapy appointment. People do not know what they are doing and put words in our mouth. They do not genuinely care for the people. If you want your love one to get the care they need, DO NOT CALL THEM. You will end up having police and ambulance showing up at your door, causing more harm than help, making it very hard to trust these "professional". I do not want other family to go through what we went through. We were fortunate that our PCP spoke up for us and we were able to go home the same night. DO NOT CALL THEM. If I know a way to report abuse of section 12, I would definitely report them. If anyone know how, please let me know."
"Fantastic with my daughter and I. They are great."
"I am a former client of the CBFS (Community Based Flexible Services) division of Advocates inc. From my own experience I have seen that many of the younger non-manger level clinicians are very not understanding and cruel towards the client. They bully people in need of help and treat them like the bad guy. It’s like come on, it’s their job to provide support and NEVER to treat such an innocent person like a criminal. These immature professionals force their political correctness views on the client. The people with mental disabilities have the RIGHT to their own political thoughts and beliefs. A lot of these individuals who work on east outreach on the clinical team at the time I had services were quite naive and untested. They lacked lots of life experience. This is NOT the kind of person who should be a mental health worker. When someone is manic or in an acute psychotic break, you need to be understand of them and ESPESSAILLY NOT bully them OR traumatize them. Under my very own opinion, Advocates will bully them and traumatize them. WHICH IS SO WRONG! This is the kind of thing that the bullies in a high school will do and exactly what mental health professionals SHOULD NOT BE DOING."
"The team I talked to was rude and plain obnoxious. I got no answe to the help I needed. The answering system on the phone was very unhelpful. They acted like they had no idea what they were doing."
