Reviews of The Well
"I really did not have a good experience here. My counselor was in an active legal conflict with my former boss. I did not know her/know if this at all. The therapist not only continued to see me but kept directing the conversation back to people involved in her situation. When I found out, I immediately called the practice, only to be treated like I was crazy. Nobody took me seriously until I sent them a news article about the legal situation. I didn't feel that anyone in the practice understood this as actually hurtful and damaging to me. I felt it was swept under the rug as just a poor fit. The counselor made a bit of a show about asking me for "grace." As a mental health professional myself, I cannot imagine EVER saying these things to clients even on my worst days."
"If I could give 0 stars I would. The councilors have 0 control of their own emotions to the point of spewing their own emotional drama on their very young client. I have witnessed first hand this practice assist in and attempt to normalize parental alienation. They fail to communicate via email on the regular and when they do its just massive amounts of deflection and projection. They refuse to acknowledged their own wrong doings."
"As others have shared, communication is awful. Ironic for a profession that’s based on talking and feelings. Waiting for a month for my child’s practitioner to respond to concerns regarding my son and his care there. Then the practitioner tried to bring in Josh, the CEO who also failed to address any of my concerns. Both the practitioner and her supervisor Josh were less then empathetic to concerns regarding my son. They both attempted to talk down to me, ignoring my concerns and just reiterating they’re treatment practices like I’m some subhuman. After numerous emails I still have not had any inkling of The Well taking responsibility for their awful practices. After all this, my child reported that his therapist Nicole told him, I was refusing her to see him. A complete lie and abusive in my book. This is something she should have left to myself and my sons mother. Not lied and took it upon herself to speak for me. I would not let my dogs attend this place let alone my child who is already struggling. Tons of much better and more qualified therapists."
"I didn’t have a good experience here. The therapist I worked with always seemed more interested in talking about things he wanted too than listening to what I had to say. Multiple instances of not knowing the time of my appointment or being confused about the day of the week. My most recent and final appointment here was cut short by a half hour because he double booked himself. Very unprofessional and disorganized."
"A holistic wellness center that has been a safe haven for me since college. I have been going to The Well for various purposes since before they moved to their current location a several years ago. I can't say enough good things about The Well. Amazing staff, great programs, a clean, mindful waiting area and they bring many holistic services practiced by asking professionals all into one calming space. I don't know what I would do without my weekly Tuesday evening relaxing yoga class with Leeanne and when I have booked massages with Becky I have never been anything but thrilled with her skills as well. The Well is a wonderful healing space lead by incredibly caring people and anyone can benefit from what they offer."
