"Dr. Rich Lavoie has been my 7 year olds doctor since he was a newborn, until today when he decided to send me discharge papers and refuse to ever see him again. This was all due to the receptionist, Taylor, saying that I was rude over the phone with her when this was not the case at all! I genuinely just thought she was confused because a few days prior at his appointment, Dr Rich was supposed to go over test results with me for my son, but had told me he didn’t have time and that they would call me in a few days with the results. I assumed they were just behind. Fast forward to them calling me back, Taylor was rude to me and refused to go over anything stating that I needed to make an additional appointment to go over the test results that we were supposed to have ALREADY reviewed at our previous appointment. Instead of going back and forth with her, I asked if Dr Lavoie could please call me at his convenience. Taylor instead put me on hold and then Dr Lavoie came on the phone and was extremely irritable, yelled at me and hung up in my face and then took it out on my child by firing him as a patient without even caring to ask me what had happened. I was not rude once and this genuinely broke my heart as I thought we had established a relationship and that they genuinely cared about my son. Being a Registered Nurse myself I am appalled by this behavior. I would never treat my patients like they’re disposable. I hope you think twice before choosing this practice. Our children deserve better."

"I called inquiring about an appointment for my niece and spoke with someone named Taylor who was extremely rude. After talking with a few people about my experience they told me they pulled their children from their care for the same reason. Poor bedside manner and attitude is not what we need when it comes to our childrens lives. 10/10 would not recommend."

I feel like he always completely listens to you and makes sure you feel heard about why you came in today."

"Dr. Lavoie is an amazing pediatrician. He calls back almost immediately whether it’s in the middle of the night and/or on weekends and always fits my kids in when they need to be seen. He makes you feel heard as a parent and is incredibly sweet to kids. I cannot recommend his practice enough. You will feel supported and your kids will be safe at his practice."
