"I have been coming to PMOW for almost 16 years now with my four boys. I have always been treated exceptionally well by all of the staff members. Especially Natatlie and Ann! They are always so welcoming and helpful. Also, you could not ask for better pediatricians. I have been happy with all of the providers. However, the boys have mainly seen Dr. Beiltel for their physicals and she is the absolute best!"
"My mother brought me here as a child and I couldn't see ever bringing my kids anywhere else. Dr Beitle and Dr Jennings are a Godsend. I can't describe how reassuring it is knowing they are the ones looking after my kids. The few times my daughter has had to go to the ED the SECOND they see her Dr is Dr Beitle they ALWAYS go on and on RAVING about how good she is. Dr Jennings has taken time out on the weekends to call and check up on our daughter the few times he's seen her when that's not even his regular patient. They take their time during appointments without making you feel rushed. Their bedside manner is amazing. I could go on all day but I like to think I've made my point. It's safe to say your babies are in good hands here!"
"PLEASE do NOT bring your children here. I will regret my decision to bring my kids to this office for years to come. From the lack of consideration, the rudeness from staff, and the discrimination against patients who wish to vaccinate differently or not at all- where to start? First, Ann is extremely rude. I don’t understand how she is able to be in contact with patients. I was in the room waiting for the doctor and she interrupted us to talk about insurance. She also made snarky remarks on how we MUST wear masks. 1) there are much better times to speak about insurance issues such as before or after the visit. 2) we are literally in a secluded room with the door closed, why do we need to wear a mask? Please pick a better time to talk to parents about insurance. Interrupting the appointment simply does not make sense at all and is just rude. Not only this but there have been multiple times over the years in which this woman has been extremely rude to me, made unnecessary comments, spoken to me in a demeaning manner, and has done things on purpose to give us a hard time. Ann does not provide good customer service or good experience. And she has been given the power to get away with this. If you say something about it, or something she does not like, she WILL have you booted from the office. I have also had bad experiences with a nurse from this office. The power of their position has gone to their head. My family and I stayed way too long at this office and it is one of the biggest mistakes we have ever made and will regret for years to come. Tell me how it is possible for a 6-7 year old to have 40 shots already? How is that effective? See, they get you with the “two or three shots in one”. So you don’t realize how many shots your child is actually getting until you see the immunization paper and it’s too late. No child needs 40 shots by 6-7 years old. Once I stated we would NOT be allowing any more vaccinations on our child, we were told that we are no longer welcome once our decision on that has been finalized. Because they do not see patients who do not vaccinate the way the practice wants to. This just proves that it is all about money and not the patient. Yes, this review is for Pediatric Medicine of Wallingford."
"Been bringing our LO to this practice for the last year. We’re happy to have found a local community of doctors that is not part of a big chain. Office staff has always been kind and helpful in getting us a sick appointment whenever we’ve needed one. We don’t love sugar coating and we necessarily agree with all recommendations but that’s for us to decide as parents. We miss Dr Hinds demeanor terribly because she got to watch our little girl grow from the beginning but our LO brings kindness, smiles, and waves to everyone’s face when we come even (if if she’s under the weather)! Considering calling to check out this office if you’re looking for a local non chain practice."
"I'm incredibly disappointed with the office staff of this practice. After being told there was an issue with my son's insurance not showing as active while sitting in the exam room, I asked what it meant for that appointment. I was told "you need to start making some phone calls" and that was it. After resolving the issue the following day, I called to advise the office. I asked when they check the insurance and was told the beginning of each month. When I asked why I didn't receive a call to resolve the issue before his appointment, I wasn't given an answer. I stated I would be looking for another practice and was told that it was my choice. I stated I knew it was my choice, that they obviously didn't care and disconnected the call. A week and a half later I received a letter kicking him out of the practice on the basis that my call was deemed inappropriate. Apparently her feelings were hurt by my saying she didn't care."
