"This shop engages in Bait & Switch tactics and will take you to the cleaners on parts & labour you dont need, especially targeting Women. Also, higher gas prices than average. They know rhey have a captive audience of wealthy motorists on Rte 9."
"They did poor rust repair work on a frame for a car I bought, now I’m out $10000 because it can’t be repaired. They should have been able to identify that the frame was too far gone before spraying it down. They made a disingenuous offer to repair it, but 2 other shops told me it was entirely unsafe to do that. Don’t trust them. They don’t know what they’re talking about."
"**DO NOT TRUST** **QUOTES UNNECESSARY WORK** I brought my car in for a routine inspection. I had no issues with my car, no lights on, and not expecting any problems. I am quoted several items of work needed. Parts and Labor of $1500. And a very worrisome warning that if I drove my car more than a few miles that it will go on fire (seriously he said it a few time that it could catch fire!) Skeptical, I took my car to another trustworthy Shop down Broadway. I had explained I had first brought my car for an inspection elsewhere and told them what was quoted for work. I didn't mention the name of the shop and they knew right away that it was Lambros because several other customers had the same issue. Anyway, they passed the inspection without any work needed. NONE. That weekend, I drove the car over 400 miles to Vermont and back without any problem. Needless to say, my car did not go on fire. I explained this to a local friend, and he had the exact same experience. He brought his car for a routine inspection to Lambros, they quoted $2000 of work, he went to another shop down broadway for a 2nd opinion, NO WORK NEEDED. He proceeded to drive the car cross country without any issue. They are crooks looking to take advantage of people. Casting doubt on their customers and suggesting that they are in danger if they don't spend thousands of dollars to fix the (completely made up) issue. These are the worst of the worst. I tried to call them back politely to make the manager aware of this problem, but they hung up on me. I hope he calls me, but until then, I hope any prospective customer reads this before bringing your car to them."
"Please see update below. This is my neighborhood mechanic, so I feel conflicted leaving a less than stellar review. They have changed the oil in my car a number of times and they are relatively flexible, prompt, and convenient. However, the last time I had my car serviced there (last week), they told me I needed new front tires. I said that was fine and they replaced my front tires. I then heard a strange clicking sound the next time I drove the car. I travel for about an hour on the highway to work and on the way back, the next day, there was a strange rumbling on the highway. I slowed down and went slowly back to Lambros. They told me that a tire had not been properly attached and that the bolts or lug nuts had not been screwed on. The tire was most likely wobbling on the highway (especially when I braked). I could have been hurt. They then repaired the tire (attached it). When I picked it up after hours, I noticed that a bolt or lug nut was missing from one of the new tires they replaced. When I called them today about it, they said that the item was missing when I brought it to them... for service? after I almost died on the highway? They also said they noticed it when they fixed it (for the second time) yesterday... Why didn't they tell me? That is, again, a safety issue.... They then said they would fix it after I became upset. I will update this with the resolution. Update: the service person told me that the mechanic actually had some sort of difficulty with the tire replacement originally and that he only found one lug nut loose when I brought it back, so I wasn't exposed to as much danger as I originally thought. They then put in the missing bolt and lug nut in my tire and it seems to be in good shape. I raised their score from 2 to 4 stars."
"Excellent service; seems like a friendly family owned business. I brought my car in to get the ac fixed on and some other minor repairs. It was Memorial Day and they were closed but Aoun saw me there and opened up to help me out!!! He fixed it up in a fair amount of time and pricing was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this shop. The customer service was lovely and contributed to an overall well auto repair experience that didn’t break my bank. Will be coming back if i need anything!"
