"Called Jim and explained to him that I was from out of town and unable to break the studs loose on my sisters car. I said I have the exhaust system and he said he had to look at the car before performing the work. went to the shop and was greeted by his office manager who said that he was not in and just leave the parts by the side door. She was not very friendly, but Jim installed the exhaust and told me no guarantee because the parts were brought in. I said I understand. I was grateful that he was able to do it for me for a good price. Fast forward, I bought a set of struts and linkage parts for the car and asked my sister to schedule the installation of the struts and links. He denied the job and told us he won't do the work because we brought our own parts. I was under the impression that there would be no guarantee and that I would be paying for labor only just like the exhaust system. Denied. We went to another local shop and the estimate was astronomical. so I'll be doing the work myself outside in the cold on the ground. Thanks, James."
