"Thank you ferry staff. You were friendly and made the ride really special since I was taking my daughter on a ferry for the first time. When we parked on the ferry, she had no idea we parked on the vessel. She said 'well where's the boat'. And then the ferry started to move, the look on her face was priceless. Special dad and daughter moments."
"We loved this tiny car ferry so much! We used it when visiting Gillette Castle as something a bit different but then used it for the return trip as well as it was so fun. We were there on a week day. Both times we got on to the ferry straight away without any significant queuing. It was $5 for the car, including all passengers ($6 at weekends). The journey was just a few minutes - just enough to get out and take a few photos. The lady coordinating loading and unloading was excellent at her job and very friendly."
"I love driving here to hang out for a bit when I have nothing else to do. It's very calm and relaxing. I'm surprised at how much this ferry runs on weekdays, you won't be waiting for more than 5 mins on either side. 4 starts because of the very limited parking if not using the ferry."
"Oldest operating feet in the US. It’s a short trip across. The views up and down the river are gorgeous! You also get a great view of Gillette castle. They can fit up to 9 cars on the boat so the line moves quickly. Price is $5 weekdays and $6 weekends."
"Ferry is a bit pricey when you can go around the swing bridge but it's a fun little ride across, so it's worth it now and then. Bring exact cash. There is no discount for motorcycles which is a bummer."
