"My three children study violin, cello and viola at Greenwich Suzuki Academy, and I couldn’t recommend the faculty, or the Suzuki method, more highly. I am not a musician and didn’t know anything about Suzuki when we started, but I feel very fortunate to have discovered it, as I’ve seen so many children begin music lessons only to quit when it gets challenging. GSA and the Suzuki method provide an environment and a community where the whole family is supported and guided along the way. Children really learn, at their own pace, and the faculty inspires us each week with their teaching skill and deep understanding and respect for the children (and their own incredible playing). The best part for me is watching my children perform with such apparent delight, and seeing them develop skills that go way beyond learning to play and perform."

"FANTASTIC teachers!! My son has been taking cello lessons here for 5 years, and I can't say enough about the positive, loving, supportive environment. The teachers have extensive training in the Suzuki methods, which is such a tried and true approach for helping young children be successful at string instruments. They do such a nice job of breaking things into small, manageable parts, and when my son was first learning (very young), it seemed like there was a song or a game for everything, which helped him stay excited about his instrument. As my son has advanced, I feel he's still in good hands, as the teachers have solid technical backgrounds. This isn't the closest place for us to take lessons, but it's well worth the drive!"
