"WSM is a gem to our Fairfield County Community. My wife and I are so happy to have all 3 of my girls ages 10, 11 and 12 enrolled for piano lessons at WSM. We believe that beside our children's schooling and physical exercises, music should be a major part of their lives. And WSM has made this possible. The location is fantastic in so many ways given that it is in the same building as the Westport Museum of Contemporary Arts. The grounds are safe, private and beautiful. WSM is literally the picture perfect place where you would imagine having your children take music lessons."
"This is the second year I have enrolled my three children (ages 5, 7, and 9) at the Westport School of Music. I highly recommend this school for anyone who is considering music lessons for their children. The atmosphere is clean and professional and the teachers are absolutely exceptional. I find that they have a nice balance between learning the academics of music and just having fun. There are several performances throughout the school year (some are at the school and just for peers, to "warm up" to the idea of performing, while others are in front of parents). There are also opportunities to perform in the community. The director of the school, Sarah Miller, is organized and very easy to communicate with. I cannot say enough about Ms. Ahyoung Son, who teaches piano. She is brilliant and so kind with children. We were so impressed with piano last year, the older two kids asked if they could add a second instrument this year (flute and violin). Highly recommend!"
