"My son started Violin lessons the month before the pandemic set in and everything locked down. Southbury Music Studio shifted gears smoothly and transitioned to virtual lessons. The quality of instruction remained high even in the virtual setting and my son continued to grow as a musician. This is a testament to both the quality of the instructors (Heidi Ohngemach during his first year and now Dr. Stephan Tieszen), and how well it is run. My son continues to be engaged in music, even being inspired to take up other instruments and experiment with the things that he has learned. The instructors are top notch, professional musicians and the front desk staff is polite, efficient and accomodating. There are never surprise bills and any changes to the schedule are communicated quickly and a variety of options are provided to make sure my son doesn't miss the lesson. Even when I have unforeseen changes to my schedule, Kristin, at the front desk always finds a away to make things work. I couldn't recommend this studio more!"
