"I drove an hour and a half to purchase a specific plant my father found for me. It said open on Google and upon arrival they were closed. Awful business practice. Sunday is my only free day to make a trip like this. What a joke"
"Just lost $60 because the person who sold me the flowers didn’t t explain me how to care for them. She only suggested to refresh the soil in the planters. So I bought a bag of their soil, mixed it with the half of the old soil, added the plant food , put the flowers in ( 2orange/1 red in one planter and 2 red/1 orange in another) and watered. The red plants lost flowers and laid down the stems on the second day, the orange one followed the suit in a couple of days. Today I went back with the photos to ask what happened to my plant and would they recover? The sales person and the senior woman came to conclusion that the plants’ roots were rotten due to excess of water. Then they went into details that I wish they would provide me at the time of sale! On my question how they can help me to recover from the loss the answer was long and unpleasant. I marked two stars on my review only because of my past experiences with another sales girl, who always was attentive to my needs. The bottom line - I’m not returning to this nursery in the future."
"Nice flowers but really poor parking. There is parking around back where employees park but when I tried to navigate the very thin driveway I ran over four flats of small flowers that were partly on the blacktop. I am handicapped and there was no where else safe to park. The lady who runs the place wasn’t nice and charged me and my wife $80 for really poor flowers that she claimed were not able to be sold ( except to us)..Too bad I was willing to spend hundreds on many plants for our house but left with a bad feeling. I would not recommend this business. They ruined our day over a few lousy flowers."
"We used Colonial Gardens for our wedding table center pieces. The process couldn't have been any easier, and the floral arrangements were gorgeous. Bonnie took a few suggestions from us and created a display that beautifully reflected the season. I would highly recommend Colonial Gardens for any event!"
"Colonial gardens is a gem of a local business. They are so friendly and know what they’re talking about. As soon as you walk in they help you with exactly what you need and give you advice on how to keep your plants as healthy as possible. They have such a wide range of house plants and they all are so pretty and well taken care of. Colonial has other gardening products- I’m just most familiar with their wide range of houseplants. You won’t regret a visit here!"
