Her bedside manner is 12/10 and the nursing staff was equally supportive. I was taken ahead of schedule for my appointment and was in and out for a full annual in less than 30 minutes. "Only wonderful compliments can be made about this office. All employees (front desk, nurses, physicians, check-out) are delightfully pleasant, and go above and beyond to provide a positive experience. Today I brought my elderly mother to see Dr. Mark Funt. I was shocked the office was able to accommodate an appointment, as we rang yesterday. The office is very focused on COVID prevention. One individual is allowed to accompany the patient. Upon arrival one calls to verify recent travel and possible symptoms. Signage abounds inside with reminders to mask up and remain six feet away from other patients. Temperature is taken before entering the hallway to patient rooms. My favorite part of the visit? I have a few. The office has a patient room with a patient table that is accessible. Low to the ground at wheelchair height. Easily adjusted later to a height that suits the doctor for examination. If there’s a need, the nurses are extremely accommodating in assisting a transfer and removal of clothing. (We had the need and I am forever grateful to the nurse that assisted us. I was remiss in asking for her name tho. Wonderful woman with an excellent disposition.) Dr. Funt is a gem. Bringing an elderly person in for an urgent visit is stressful. Dr. Funt walked in and it was immediately evident that the visit would not be stressful. Listening skills: 10 Communication: 10 Dr. Funt took ample time to collect medical history, and was incredibly patient in responding to our questions. When the visit ended, Dr. Funt inquired if we wanted assistance dressing and returning Mom to her wheelchair. While checking out, the nurse appeared to confirm our preferred pharmacy. This is a fantastic gyno practice. Highly recommend."
