"Who prescribes a patient that you have not seen or spoke to you in months medication? This doctor does. Besides fear mongering medical advice, there were many condescending or uncomfortable moments. I come from a medical background and have witnessed instances that violate so many patient rights. I came in for maternity care with no history of any conditions and many of the conversations were options & NOT fact based. Prescribing medication without discussing with patient pros and cons, ignoring patient preferences of services needed/ agreed to, assuming my racial ethnicity and making recommendations based off those assumptions, cutting my partner off if he had any questions during our sessions, uninterested body language, running 30-40 minutes behind after we already waited in the waiting room for 30 mins, playing the role of nutritionist instead of making a referral. I always had questions and she always seemed annoyed to answer them or lazy to even give advice without me asking questions. The front desk staff is equally lackadaisical with your time and basic medical service etiquette. It was frustrating and disappointing to see such great reviews (years ago) versus the experience I had. Whether retraining or therapy to learn how to deal with a variety of people, something has to occur."

"Lacks empathy and cultural competence. Visits with her were perpetually uncomfortable and judgmental. Seeing a different provider was day and night in comparison."

"Did my moms IUD, ended up falling out and caused her internal discomfort, mom had to go to the ER. Not only that but when my mom was expressing visible discomfort she was getting frustrated at my mom (doctor) and asked her if she wanted to go home with an attitude. While my mom was going through this she would never have time for an appointment when we were trying to schedule one for aftercare, I’m not going to assume things but this doctor is much happier and put together with bougie private insurance patients. Change your Insurance policy if people of different backgrounds bother you girl. I’m not a doctor nor saying I could understand you but if I caused my patient a damn injury I would do my best to find them an appointment ASAP."

"This was my first time meeting Dr. RODRIGUEZ. She listened to my concerns and took her time to explain things to me. The staff nurses at check in were quick and efficient. I love that there was no long wait. I do have to comment that the person taking blood could be a little friendlier."
