There was a shortage of my moms favorite flower and they were more than open to letting me find them and bring them at any time. They were truly such kind compassionate people to deal with. "HORRIBLY RUDE OWNER. As a long time Yorktown resident, I visited Freyer's to arrange Funeral Flower's for my mother's visitation service. Upon walking up to the door I was met by the owner who growled at me with "We do not do in person orders anymore." Confused and stunned at her rude and abrupt greeting, I asked how to place an order. She instructed me to give her a call or place the order via the website. I asked her to go back inside and I would give her a call. She said that she couldn't talk to me immediately and that I should call the shop later. Then pretty much slammed and locked the door in my face. Given the circumstances, I guess I was wrongly expecting some empathy and minimal level of customer service. Clearly I was wrong. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere, to a florist who was interested in providing personal service. Freyer's may have been in business for 65 years, but the daughter who has taken over is a terrible business owner, with no regard for her customers. If you keep treating your customers this way, you will not be in business much longer."
