"Please, I beg you to find another Dr. They keep deleting my post because it exposes him for what he is. This was the worst experience I have ever had with and OBGYN he doesnt deserve to be an dr. Doctors help people this guy has only left me with scars and hurt me mentally, physically and emotionally for years to come, I would never recommend him to anyone I wouldn't advise any woman to go and see this, monster. "Dr. Cumella was the on call doctor when I gave birth to my son 5 years ago. The simplest way to put it is he was a bully. He was completely unsupportive, at times telling me I wasn't even trying, while actively pushing. He controlled the room in such a misogynistic way so no one stood up for me. They were all afraid of him. I was so hurt that the nurse allowed him to treat me the way he did. He thinks he is omnipotent and ignores simple requests and birthing plans. I'm pregnant again and made the decision I would never return to NWH for fear that I ever had to have Dr. Cumella be my obgyn again. It was a truly upsetting experience and it was my first time giving birth."

"I'm leaving this review for Dr. Cumella to override the last one star review for him. I just went to look up his number on google and saw that review and had to step in. Dr Cumella is one of the greatest OBGYNs I have ever met. I met him when I was 37 years old, 3 years ago and in one visit, he saved me from a lifetime of pain. Since I reached the age of puberty, I had suffered endlessly with excruciating pain that was always misdiagnosed. Betweem the ages of 29 and 37, I had had 7 surgeries under the supervision of other gynecologists (which were also great). When I met Dr Cumella, he was very knowledgeable and compassionate and said, let's put an end to this and all of these surgeries. I instantly knew I was in good hands, and I felt like I could breathe again. I am now three years pain free and I have no more worries. Dr Cumella is a very knowledgeable doctor and gets straight to the point. No trials with him, just cut and dry. He's a serious doctor and knows what he's doing. This is what I loved about him after years of "well, let's do this and see if it works" nope!! Dr. Cumella goes right to the target and gets it done, just like a doctor should. I am so grateful to have met him. Waking up everyday for half of my life in pain and not knowing what the day would bring was one of the hardest things a person has to go through. Thank you, Dr. Cumella and staff. You all are truly amazing!!!!!! If you want a no BS doctor, definitely use him."
