"It’s disheartening to see all other positive reviews when my experience was so different. I felt like Dr. Benzoni didn’t even care about me. I had put off going to any doctors appointments for a couple years due to struggling with depression and anxiety. I finally was able to take back control of my health and was having other health issues as well. Dr. Benzoni had diagnosed me with PCOS after an ultrasound they didn’t even save in my records so I couldn’t have them sent to my new current OBGYN. Every appointment she would start it by asking me why I’m there today even when she told me to schedule that follow up the next week. It felt like she never had even looked at my chart before each appt. It was a scary time being diagnosed, confused and not understanding what PCOS was, and being treated like I didn’t matter. My mom had come with me to a couple appointments after I told her how I felt about them and she agreed with how it felt like my care was being disregarded. Even the assistant who comes in before the Dr each appt to ask me the regular questions had always gotten irritated when I couldn’t remember some thing’s right away. Having anxiety, that’s the worst thing to happen and I remember one appt after she finished and left I almost started crying while waiting for Dr. Benzoni to come in. Luckily I found a new OBGYN and PCOS specialist dr’s who make me feel taken care of."
