"Dr. Xu is great! My mom had a stroke just as she was moving to the area. Dr Xu accepted her as a primary care patient right from the hospital and we have seen him every few months for the last few years for followups and checkups. He is thorough, listens to all concerns, and integrates all information coming in from her various specialists. His staff also contacts us proactively with questions they have in reviewing paperwork and test results. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring physician!"

"Dr. Xu is great. My former physician went Concierge-only and I found Dr. Xu online. I have had several appointments and am very happy with his care. I am the son of an old-time GP and Dr. Xu has many attributes that have disappeared from today's practitioners. He is knowledgeable, friendly and listens as well as speaks. He really cares about the patient, does not over medicate and is accessible. If you choose him as your family physician you won't be disappointed. This is an update of my previous review: I continue to visit Dr. Xu as needed and reiterate my previous comments. Everyone I have recommended to him has thanked me."

"I was very disappointed by Dr. Xu at my last appointment. He came into the office with no laptop, no pen, no paper, and without my chart. He had no recollection of my medical history and I had to correct him on multiple occasions. When discussing the bloodwork order I was getting, he told me I didn’t need to fast, stating that “all that would impact would be my glucose and cholesterol level.” I’m not sure why those numbers wouldn’t be important, considering he had no knowledge of my numbers during my last blood test (several years prior). He also seemed annoyed when I asked him to order additional testing (vitamin D, magnesium, and CRP). I was very disappointed because he is a highly rated doctor. But after several years of being unsatisfied (this last appointment being completely unacceptable), I will be finding a new doctor."
