"If I could give zero stars I would, I do not recommend my family member was in the hospital due to an infection and all the doctor had to do was Lance it off. And his own words, he said that it should be OK and he refused to look at it and just said go on meds. It still hurt her so we went to Scranton cmc geisinger, she went into septic shock, and had to have many surgeries, and she is still in the ICU. If he would’ve just removed it, this would’ve never happened she could’ve died. I’m not saying this whole place is bad but beware of the doctors and if you can, please just take your family members to Scranton or somewhere other than Wayne Memorial."
"I wish I could give less than one star. I had my baby three months ago(not my first) and I had the displeasure of being a patient here. Completely unprofessional and rude. I’ve had type 1 diabetes for 17 years and I did not appreciate the staff and doctors telling me I had no clue as to what I was doing, telling me my numbers were too high(they were perfect, A1C in the 6-5% area), telling me I was wrong, it’s my opinion when I tell them my life experiences with the disease. I had food poisoning in my third trimester and Dr. Eric Rittenhouse came into my ER room at Wayne Memorial to try and ask what I’m doing wrong, treating me like it’s my fault. Of course he shut up when my husband walked in. (Food poisoning was from Wendy’s) these people made my life and pregnancy a living hell . Completely uneducated about thyroid issues and diabetes, yet acted like they did it for a living. I was told my baby would be born sick and I wasn’t taking care of myself. Having an A1C in the low 6’s and 5’s is damn near perfect. It’s has been 3 months since I’ve had to deal with these people but I have not forgotten just very busy taking care of a very happy healthy baby. They are extremely fortunate this is all I’m doing in regards to their unacceptable behavior. Stay away from these people especially if you are sick in any way."
"Took my wife there for emergency care and she was treated right away with the best care from receptionist to Dr. Rittenhouse."
"Never wrote a bad review before but, I've had the absolute worst experience here. Not only are the staff rude but the doctor I was seeing was beyond unprofessional. She diagnosed me with PCOS and when I asked her what it was, she told me to "Google it". I was trying to better understand how to treat it and she gave me little to no answers and told me it wasn't a big deal. I left her office feeling so overwhelmed and confused with no support or understanding of my diagnosis. Never going here again"
"Ideally, I would leave negative stars but Google's lowest rating is 1 star. This place is HORRIBLE and no one should ever go there!!! The short grey haired check in and out ladies are probably the most impolite and rude people I have ever met. They should not be in a customer facing role because they are so belittling and mean. They also incredibly rude about masks meanwhile the second you walk away they take their masks off? It would be comical if they weren't so disrespectful. I have been to this office 5+ times over the years and this was the last straw. I made an appt. months ago, showed up for the appt. 10minutes early to make sure there was no new paperwork etc. The lady scolded me for not wearing a mask while the employees right behind her didn't have masks on. After talking to my insurance to make sure I was in-network (even though it's been the exact same insurance for years) she proceeded to tell me their office is in negotiations with Cigna. I then asked what that meant because I don't work in a doctors office or have any idea how insurance negotiations work. She then just kept saying the same thing to which I kept saying I didn't understand. It ended with me leaving in borderline tears without being seeing because she scolding me about Cigna negotiations, which again I don't understand. This is one of the top five worst experiences in a doctors office and no one should ever go here. Seriously, I was a patient for years and they treated me beyond poorly. Save yourself a headache and being scolded if you don't understand what their negotiations with insurances are."
