"If you want the experience of seeing different plants and selections this isn’t a bad spot. The staff is quite friendly and knowledge as well. The reason I removed a star is because the markups are just ridiculous, specifically for how early stage some of the plants I was searching for were and since the flowers are simply resold from another grower 50%-100% markup of retail (not wholesale) from few other retailers in the same area is insane. Hopefully they are not paying a ridiculous wholesale premium or this would make sense. If you’re buying for the experience this will not disappoint as it is very organized and hopefully the markups justify that for you. Otherwise do your research as I should have."

"The Garden is hands down the best plant nursery around. As an amateur tropical houseplant collector, The Garden has the most amazing selection of houseplants I have ever seen at any nursery in CT. They range from classic common houseplants, an AWESOME collection of cacti and succulents, to beautiful rarer specimens of all different types of philodendrons, Alocasia, monstera, and more!! I feel like a kid in a candy shop every single time I walk into the greenhouse here! The employees are all super friendly and all seem to be passionate about the work they’re doing, and happily answer any questions you’ll have. If you’re in the market for houseplants, wether you’re a novice, or especially a collector, look no further as I can tell you you’ve already found your new favorite spot! (The Garden also has all the outdoor perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees you’ll ever need!! I personally don’t plant outdoor plants so I can’t speak much on those, but the greenhouse is beautiful and full all spring/summer!)"
