"I come here time for time for check ups and I had my first worst experience. LADIES . DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL WITH A HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND…There is a nurse in the checkin room by the name of "Mishandi" aka "Mimi" & she is extremely inappropriate & was flirty towards me when I was with my fiance. Asking me personal questions with smiles. & walked up close to my privates . Very rude to me tho, with a poker face yet I am the patient. I really do not appreciate that because I showed her & everybody else respect the WHOLE TIME through it ALL. They ALL know it.. I called the supervisor to explain how much I didn't like the service & Mimis disrespect to me and did make my significant other feel unwanted. She Hung up on me and did not help me at all they expect it’s okay for a woman to lust for a man in a relationship. I went to this hospital because they make me not for fun and to cheat.. they sent me to walk out alone & made it look like I was walking out with Mimi and it wasn’t true so another bad experience I need to explain to my girl. Then to ruin my life more I was feeling weak and I wanted to press the handicap button to open the door and the button did not work. The security guard was to busy falling sleepy after flirting with Mimi and looking at her bust he couldn't even help or open my door so I had to push it myself when I was feel bad already."
"Oncology office nurses do not respond patient’s requests at all. Made phone calls many times but no response at all. I do not comprehend how this neglects are overlooked at Yale Medical Center. Practicing doctors do not know their staffs tardiness treating sick patients with malignant disease? It is a shock for me to find out this facts here in New Haven as a physician who practiced surgery for over 40 yrs at NY Metropolitan area !!!your office should remedy these sickness immediately."
"Care and med staff were phenomenal but visitor hours are ridiculous! 10am is too late! I miss doctor rounds to hear about my husband. There is absolutely no reason that a family member could not go in at 8am. I would love to hear the rational for this rule"
"This is a review related to Yale's Pediatric Neurology Department and scheduling. Imagine you receive an email to go to your online health chart for a message regarding your young child. Automatically my heart skips a beat! Then my heart goes into an unimaginable pounding because it indicates a phone message was left and your son's neurology appointment has been changed from January to May. I am enraged because there was no left message and how can a doctor's office arbitrarily change such an important appointment without my input. He is new to Dr. Cardinale's practice or caseload and he is supposed to be seen twice yearly to monitor seizure activity, health and effectiveness of two medications (one which is a narcotic)! This is not a run of the mill condition and I feel like Yale DOES NOT care about my young son and his health oendevelopment. There is a lot of anxiety that comes with these yearly appointments and wondering and relying upon professionals to guide you though this MEDICAL process. Yale has contributed immensely to my and my son's existing anxiety in this time of transition to a new doctor. You have made me feel like a number and not a human being. Your practices lack empathy, consideration and lack of humanity! I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed!!! At this point I would make any such recommendations to this facility and those of us within the parental community of children with Epilepsy talk, and share information, both good and bad!!!"
"I needed to have two doctor appointments set up urgently for pre-surgical clearance regarding an injury. All I could ever get is an “answering service” (in the middle of the day) that supposedly was leaving messages with the Dr offices for them to return my calls but never did I receive any calls. Thank heavens for the Hartford Healthcare system that connects you to an actual human being who works there and is knowledgeable and able to direct you immediately to the appropriate office, or I wouldn’t have been able to have my surgery within the necessary time frame. I would give one star, but I’m factoring in for the orthopedic resident in the Yale ER the night of my injury who gave me very excellent care."
