"I just cannot say enough good things. My two year old son has been attending Little Stars for almost a year and he loves going to see Miss Shannon. She has been like family and clearly cares about all the kids so much. She knows my son to a T. She personalized everything to each kid and knows them all so well. She clearly loves the work and all of the kids. Since the beginning she has also helped me as a new parent, giving detailed feedback and observations about his development and behavior ALWAYS with a positive and loving orientation, and gives me helpful information and suggestions, but always so unassuming and sensitive/appropriate about it and always checking to make sure I want the suggestions first. I have learned much better ways to manage unwanted behaviors and it’s clear she has so much experience, has done her research and knows her stuff cold when it comes to raising a good well adjusted kid. The crafts, activities, food recipes, and special days and events/celebrations she comes up with are astounding. I can’t get over how cute they are and she puts so much effort into the little details to make everything special. My son had the sweetest birthday celebration and he is always coming home with the cutest arts and crafts projects. Miss Shannon is incredibly responsive and consistently answers my messages basically immediately. She sends cute photos regularly and it makes my day. My son loves the other kids and all the fun things he gets to do there. As icing on the cake, my son went from being not potty trained at all (I was too overwhelmed with another new baby) to using the potty within literally two weeks, thanks to Miss Shannon and her teaching and encouragement. I was sending my son to an expensive daycare center near my work 3 days a week and while there was nothing whatsoever wrong with that other daycare, I just pulled him out and decided to send him to Little Stars full time because this other daycare had NOTHiNG on Little Stars in terms of value. this other daycare also closed constantly for various reasons and has so many holidays and professional days- Little Stars is basically always open and Miss Shannon has multiple assistants and backup. I mention that because when deciding on center vs home daycare this is a very relevant issue. I have had to miss days of work for daycare closures with this other large center several times, meanwhile I have never missed a day with Little Stars, not once. Basically I could go on and on. I am so grateful for this place and for what it and Miss Shannon have for for my son and my family. Check this place out if you need childcare, you will not regret it"
