"Absolutely end to a longtime relationship. I was a customer for 15 years. I bought transmissions and engines regularly at semi-fair prices. And I can now relate to the other people who have left reviews on here were they were taken advantage of. I did a lot of business with this company, until one day I was told to pay cash and they would save me some money. The reality was, besides the obvious tax fraud, they would not take back a bad part they sold me. I gave CAL another chance, as frankly there were not many other choices (something Tom's Auto Parts prays on). After a PD buddy of mine shared with me that the owner Tom is a registered SO (having children) I was mortified, and stopped all transactions with them. Later research shows that Cal was on probation for also abuse of a minor. I will never support this type of heinous illness . I recommend driving a few more miles to truck county in Wilemantic - They are lovely people!"

"Told me they had the part ready, hey there after driving 2 hours to be told they looked up the wrong part, the correct one is 3x the cost I was told and not ready. Wasted 4 hours of my day and the guy behind the counter simply tells me "the guy who you talked to isn't here" cuz that helps. Shop here of you want to get jerked around"

"Bought a couple doors for my truck a couple of weeks ago. Fair price but not sure why they cut the plugs off of the wiring harnesses. Wanted complete doors so I wouldn't have to spend too much time swapping them over, but because they cut the wiring harnesses had to spen a whole day swapping all of the guts from my old doors to the new ones. If you go here for any electric parts, make sure to tell them not to cut the plugs!"
