Mavis Discount Tire

"Came to Mavis last week for a scheduled appointment. And was not told the machine was down so I made a new appointment to install my tpms. I was quoted on the phone and also was told the sensors I needed to work with their machine. I went out and purchased the ones that would work for them even though I already had a set. I then get to Mavis and they gave me a quote once again. While all my wheels are off they came back and asked if I wanted programmed. Well that’s part of what I discussed. They said no it’s more. So now I am getting my car Back with no work done even though I was quoted a price. Bad customer service and shady practices 2 weeks in a row. Stay away."

"The only reason I’m giving this one star is because I have to otherwise it would be zero!! I went in for an inspection 5 1/2 hours later I finally get out of the place. Now I understand there’s going to be things that need to be replaced and you can run into problems with that being said Joey, the manager, or he seemed like the manager proceeded to tell me that one of my tires would not pass inspection which I totally understood then he told me my brakes and rotors were no good. I asked him if they would pass inspection he didn’t answer me. He told me he could do them for $500. I told him that I can do them for way cheaper as I can do my own brakes and rotors and he said I’ll give them to you for $250. I said no I told him to fail my inspection I’ll just do the work myself he got all mad and told his employee to fail me which is fine because that’s what I told him. His last attempt to get me to do the brakes and rotors was he’s gonna give me another discount. I said you’re gonna charge me $480 for the brakes rotors inspection one tire and tax he said yes I asked him how long he said an hour and a half I said OK do it 5 1/2 hours later no one came over to tell me what the issue was and then Joey didn’t even have the decency to ring me out he had somebody else do it I watch them order the wrong rear rotors for my vehicle. Needless to say I will not be back. It’s unfortunate because I use this Mavis all the time."
