Kim Kare

"Kim is an excellent daycare provider, and she has been great with providing a safe and happy place for our infant son. To show that I'm being fair I'll list pros and cons. Pros - 1. Kim has the right energy for the kids. She's enthusiastic and kind - and it shows in how the kids respond to her. 2. The daycare is well kept, clean and full of activities for the kids. Kim works hard at keeping a routine of fun activities for the kids. My son has already made some friends there! 3. Great communication. Kim has been available and willing to work with us. My son has a different feeding/care routine than the other babies due to a medical problem we're working on. Kim has really been open minded about working with us. 4. Genuine care. Both mine and my wife's parents have gotten to meet Kim when picking up my son and have remarked that she is the nicest person you'll meet. Cons - 1. The house that the daycare is in is on a hill. and the access is in the back. Not a problem for me, but it could pose some difficulty getting there in the winter, and it can be a touch tough hauling a baby + car seat up the hill to the car from the back entrance. 2. Her start time is 8:00 AM which might be too late for some people. Ends at 4:30 which again might not work for everyone. Overall, if you can manage the hill and the schedule, Kim Kare is a solid choice for a daycare. Keep it up Kim!"

"Exceptional care! Kim really loves her children and takes good care of them. She treats them like they are her own. Please don't listen to the negative review below. There are policies and procedures that need to be followed to enroll a child in daycare or any business relationship. If you don't follow those procedures, your application will be rejected."

"Was set to start my son with this daycare on the first of June but was trying to figure out scheduling with Memorial Day coming. This has been a month in the works, came to do a walkthrough and everything. We had to postpone a week due to a medical emergency with my son. Texted the owner to confirm the final meeting to sign paperwork and receive payment and received a response saying “your son isn’t a good fit for our daycare so we’re canceling your enrollment”. What does that even mean, my three month old son isn’t a good fit???? I’m so confused. I asked for an explanation and received nothing. Come to find out after talking to several people and other daycares in the area that there were a lot of negative things being said about this daycare and its services. After hearing the horror stories I am actually at peace that she decided to cancel, it’s like someone was looking out for us. I still never received an explanation and with such short notice, my wife will not be able to start her new position now which has put us in a financially difficult position. Absolutely one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had - and that’s coming from a small business owner who works with other businesses on a daily basis. If I could leave zero stars I would. Greedy, expensive, and rude to say the least. I wish the best of luck to any parent that would decide to leave their child with these people."
