"2024 will be 10 years that I've been doing business with Yankee Peddler & Loan. Al, Matt, Josh and Pete always put our business relationship first. The shop is in a safe area which makes me comfortable leaving my valuables with them for months on end. They're all very honest and have gone the extra step on numerous occasions to give me the better half of a deal. I purchased a set of earrings as a Christmas gift this year. Al cut the original price of $250 to almost half. I've kept thousands of dollars worth of coins and jewelry with them as loan collateral. Whenever I buy them back, they're always in the same condition in which I left them, with an accurate ticket attached. These are good, knowledgeable people you'll be able to trust. Right now I have a loan with them for $525 for which I left an array of morgan silver dollars as collateral. Their loan rates are very reasonable too. "My visit to Yankee Peddler Pawn was incredibly disappointing, especially as a regular customer who has been buying silver coins for a while. The older gentleman working there initially gave me a price for my silver coins, but then he decided to change the price because he claimed I took too long, even though I was there for a mere 2 minutes. What's worse is that he took away two of the coins we had agreed upon. This inconsistency and unprofessional behavior left me with a terrible impression of the store. I won't be returning, and I'd caution others, especially loyal customers, to be cautious when dealing with this establishment."
