"Went to pick up my prescriptions this evening to be told that they wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow when I spoke to someone yesterday and they said everything would be ready today and ended up getting into an argument with the pharmacy tech. He goes to tell the pharmacist and the guy is just standing there, staring at me instead of coming to the window to ask me what the issue is or look into the problem and decided he wanted to rudely talk back and go back-and-forth with me. Come to find out he was a district manager as well as the pharmacist very unprofessional guy. Unfortunately, I did not get his name but he was Middle Eastern with light eyes in case anyone has to encounter his disrespectful demeanor. Then I’m told that the new medication that I have to start tomorrow is out of stock so I had to go to the Barnum Avenue location to pick it up where they were actually very nice and apologetic for Hawley Lane’s screw up. Every time I go to this location they are always disrespectful and I did not have any issues with Barnum Ave so I will be going there from now on. There’s a reason why this location has 1.9 stars on Google because the pharmacy is trash and so is the store itself and they need to just shut down at this point."
"This is the absolute worst CVS I've ever been in for prescriptions. I got an alert that the meds were ready, but when I got there the store lied and they were NOT ready. After having to re-register insurance, I was instructed to stand aside, and then 15 people came in, and I was told to go to the back of the line, that by the time I got to the front, my scripts might be ready. They would not just give me my scripts when they were ready, my usual experience. I had already paid for delivery at the beginning of December, but no one EVER delivered my meds, and I've had to come in EVERY TIME to pick them up, but they won't give me my money back for a delivery that NEVER HAPPENED! They wanted to charge me AGAIN to deliver, even though I was AT THE PHARMACY TO PICK THEM UP. I am switching pharmacies after this, DON'T GO HERE."
"ZERO STARS. If there was a negative star option, I would give this store (and CVS in general) 10 negative stars. It is virtually impossible to call and speak with a human, prices are high, lines to pick up prescriptions are long, workers are overworked and disagreeable. There also is no way to add a vaccine to an existing appointment (either by calling the pharmacy and being on hold for 30 minutes, or online) after being told on very short notice that the one originally scheduled is now unavailable. If you are able to go to any other pharmacy, do so!"
"I showed up to the pharmacy on Sunday at 5:55 PM five minutes before close. I was told I couldn’t pick up my prescription because apparently they didn’t have the insurance card on file which doesn’t make sense because this has been my pharmacy for quite some time. Frustrated I said I would pay cash and talk to my insurance about reimbursing me at this point. Then I’m informed one of the pharmacist took the cash drawer out already so they wouldn’t be able to take my cash payment. What frustrates me here the most is that the pharmacy closes at six yet they were closing the drawer before pharmacy hours were closed. Incredibly unprofessional in my opinion zero customer service provided."
"This is the WORST pharmacy! They literally NEVER answer the phone. I have sat in the line while at the store STILL on hold from when I tried calling at home, and there was one person in line and I watched the staff completely ignore the phones. They don't care about leaving people on hold indefinitely. There have been times when I gave up after a half hour on hold. I had high hopes for this pharmacy, but unfortunately they are just like all the other bigger name pharmacies. You're time and schedule does not matter They will not bother to notify you if your prescription is out of stock, if you have any kind of controlled prescription they will leave it on hold and will not fill it until you come into the store, and then you have to wait an hour or two for them to fill it. Since they don't ever answer the phone, you can't even call and ask. Save time and aggravation. Go to literally any other pharmacy."
