"CVS regularly understaffs this location, making for an absolute nightmare for customers. The drive-through window is almost always shuttered (or whatever you'd call covered with cardboard boxes) and the line for the pharmacy is long. This is during times of increased risk of infection where many would be safer inside their cars and not standing in crowds."

"Pharmacy workers can be brutally mean. There's a tech named Alice who is amazing. I always go when she's there. Also, the pharmacist David is attentive, kind, and patient. I often see pharmacy techs abused by patients, and no one does anything. The staff (especially the pharmacist) is extremely overworked but still has a smile on his face. I've called on the phone 3 days straight once, and no one ever answered. Finally Alice came back to work and she answered my call. The line to pick up prescriptions can take up to an hour, just to find out your script that was promised hours ago is not ready. They run out of medications often and sometimes can not even tell you when it will be available... meds that can be life-threatening if not taken. Still, Cvs Branford CT is the best pharmacy compared to the horrible others around. Someone, please do something about this."

"Honestly, it was a lot better. Now, if you're waiting for a prescription, the line is usually about 30 feet away from the counter. In other words, there are usually 8 to 9 people ahead of you. I don't know why it's gotten like that. And even when you call and try to speak to a pharmacy associate, you're on hold for at least 11 or 12 minutes."

"Find the district manager! Awesome employees. Awesome atmosphere. Every single one needs a raise. The CEO needs to be put in the hot seat now. Her name is Karen Lynch. The district manager also needs to be called out. Hopefully they can be named soon. The district manager and other managers dictate the schedule and get bonuses tied to this kind of stuff. They are deliberately not putting people on staff (cutting hours) and also not hiring. Find and call out the district manager in public. I have been waiting for days on my meds, expedited and all with phone calls made along with standing in a line for an explanation. There is a shortage of employees, and there needs to be incentive to hire more. Less money for executives, less stock options, and more for pharmacists. The CEO, Karen Lynch, needs to be held accountable. For me, if this medication was life threatening I would be knocking on her door. She made nearly 23 million last year. Find her and get some answers. Executives need to be paid less and pharmacists paid more. The public needs to find these leaders in public and call them out in public."

"This Branford location has become an absolute DISASTER in recent months! They are consistently late on filling prescriptions, their drive thru is now CLOSED, they don’t answer the phone, and the automated system gives inaccurate information about when your prescription is ready so you drive there and it’s still not ready and have to wait an ADDITIONAL 15-30 minutes. And by their most recent on slot of bad reviews, I’m not alone with these ongoing issues with THIS location specifically. I have friends that have already switched to Walgreens, Stop & Shop, and Walmart pharmacies and I’m about to do the same! If CVS chooses to continue in running this location so inefficiently and poorly, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this location on a future store closing list."
