"I only gave three stars because we purchased two pints of the seasonal flavor cranberry chocolate chunk to take home. We did not have a lot of interaction with staff. We really liked the cranberry chocolate chunk but felt it could use a bit more of the chocolate chunks. The amount of cranberry was exceptional, and we would purchase again. We did go back and purchase two more pints. One of the pints of cranberry chocolate chunk only had 11 cranberries and 2 chunks of chocolate. Unfortunately, consistency may be an issue. At $7.99 a pint I do expect more of the additives than that. The flavor of the ice cream is really good and it is smooth and creamy."

"This is my second favorite ice cream place of all time. If you find yourself in Litchfield county you must visit Arethusa and have some of their delicious ice creams. Their dairy comes from their own local farm and you can tell by the quality of their product. They have many great flavors but I always go with a chocolate milkshake. It’s so good we have even gone there before lunch time so we could grab some goodness before heading back home. It’s a top ice cream destination in Connecticut for a reason and well worth the wait if you see there’s a line out the door."

"After dinner my family and I went out for ice cream, in Bantam center ,old firehouse turned into a dairy store. Little on the high end$$$ but delicious locally made. Kind of neat place to visit. Have a glass window between the shop and there ice cream production room so you can see where the actually make there products."

"I loved my experience here. It is located in the beautiful town of Bantam. There is a parking lot located in the back with plenty of space. They offer many different ice cream, cheese and milk. The dairy is on premises. Everything in the store is made fresh only feet away from where you are buying it. The ice cream was amazing. You can get two scoops of freshly made ice cream for a similar price of the chain ice cream shops. I’d rather pay a slightly higher price to have much better and fresher quality. Excited to go back next time and try some of the cheeses that are made there as well. Five stars!"
