Texas Roadhouse

"I have always loved the atmosphere at Texas Roadhouse, and the food is usually pretty good. The sides that came with the meal were not very good. Mac and cheese (with an up charge) was more like boxed kraft macaroni and cheese. Ceasar salad had barely any Ceasar to it, and the fries I was told were ok. The chicken fingers were good, and was told the cheese burger was good. The service was not great. Kept on waiting for my drink to get refilled and finally just had, had it, paid my bill (which is done on the table kiosk), and got up. The server didn't even come by at all after we had received our dinners. As we were getting up to leave is when he noticed he had screwed up. Manger was nice enough to take the mac and cheese off the bill. Sorry this is so long."

"I was there tonight and our server was completely rude . He gave us an attitude the entire time and pretended like he couldn’t hear what we were saying on purpose. All the food came out wrong. I asked for my steak medium rare and it seemed like the steak wasn’t even on the grill. I didn’t even eat my steak and they still put it on the bill. I had to ask the server to take it off and he did but still completely disappointed. My boyfriend and I were just trying to share some good food with our siblings but we couldn’t even do that."

"We got there before 12, food came very quick, and surprisingly the veggie is fresh boiled, not reheat from frozen. Server is friendly, steak is great though a little bit overcooked on half side (we ordered t-bone), and the grilled shrimp with bread is awesome (boneless wings is great too)! I would def come if I go Danbury."

"We visited this Texas roadhouse on Mother’s Day. Keeping that in mind, I’m a little surprised myself that I’m about to give a five star rating, but they earned it. Lots of parking around the whole restaurant, including Veteran’s only parking on one of the corners. Very clean inside with lots of decor to match the restaurant theme. The entire staff was very helpful and amazing from the start. Shockingly we only waited about 8 minutes for a table. Pricing was cheaper than I expected, including the steaks. The food was great. Lots of delicious menu choices. Buttery bread with cinnamon butter is given at the table. We started with the fried onion. Very crispy with a nicely season batter. The dipping sauce had a little kick to it. The country fried sirloin was delicious. Cut thin and fried perfectly. The gravy on top was also delicious. Looking forward to my next trip here."
