"I am currently seeing a Podiatrist for a persistent Plantar Fasciitis issue. Unfortunately, none of the services provided- that actually seem to be helping me are covered and are not even allowed to be applied against my deductible at all. This includes orthotics and extracorporeal shockwave therapy that helps to reduce inflammation. I called to inquire about the shock wave therapy I was told it was considered experimental, yet it has been used for decades and the National Institutes of Health has concluded it contributes to healing and pain reduction. Just another excuse for not covering the procedure awful insurance company."

"Worst company ever! Tried to enroll my wife and me in a medigap plan. I set up online account, sent in application, and got an email confirmation. When I tried to log in it says my email is invalid! 6 calls to customer service with no help, only empty promises of fixing the problem. My wife has other problems with her account. I just signed us up with United Healthcare and I’m in the process of cancelling our Connecticare accounts which will be another nightmare I’m sure. Stay far from this company!"

"I'm not surprised after reading all of the negative reviews. This company offers bare bones health insurance policies and makes a practice of not covering even the most basic procedures that other insurance companies will cover. I only gave them 2 stars because the the customer service staff was friendly and professional. Otherwise I would rate them a zero. It's too bad that people must pay ridiculously high prices and receive nothing in return. Shame on my employer for doing business with this company. And shame on Connecticare for offering such horrible coverage. I guess that's the state this country is in now. Profits before people. If you can I would avoid this company."

"A joke of an insurance company and that is saying a lot. I called to cancel 3 times... 2 months later they send me a bill for $1200 saying its going to collections if I don't pay. I call and they have no record of me? The people are extremely rude too. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"
