"An insurance agency is supposed to be the middle person between you and your carrier, otherwise go right to the carrier yourself. That is not the case with this agent. They do not like you calling and ask you to email because "only 4 people work here." Every time this is the response. We sent a 2A form for cancellation, Amy said she would follow-up, 12 days later never heard and we got charged for an auto policy we tried to cancel. When we reached out she informed us they did not accept the form but could send a new one or give them the policy. When I called and explained the gentlemen on the phone immediately told me "Amy did email him." (referring to her response back to us). When I said, no she only wrote back once we reached out, he did not like that. Then I got lectured on how they are an agent and it is not their job to follow-up. I could hear him talking to Amy in the background (clearly they do not care) and she kept saying "we just never heard from MAPFRE." When I raised my voice and began saying how this is unbelievable that two other agency's had no problem completing this, he went on to say it was not their fault and they do not provide this service and he won't be spoken to like this. Before I married my husband he often got redirected to contact MAPFRE himself by this agency which I found weird because I had my agent always contact them. His insurance was also higher with lower coverage, an older SUV, and no points on his license compared to my brand new SUV with high coverage. From the other reviews it seems like they just want to write, get the percentage but not do any of the customer service. Bottom line, an apology and saying we will get right on this would have avoided this but the no accountability and placing blame on the customer is just standard for this one start agent who clearly needs to retire. I had to take time from my job today to handle this because they do not care as it is not money coming out of their pocket. UPDATE: Spoke to our family who also use this agency and said that they had the same experience dealing with a claim on a total loss. The family member had to do all the work AND had to advocate to MAPFRE as to why the car was worth more with the loss. They will be looking elsewhere after two decades as well. On our end, we cancelled our insurance after contacting the carrier directly and they shared outreach attempts with the agency that went unanswered. Go with a better agency and save yourself time and money."

"Had a problem with my insurance payment, the message directed me to call this agency. I was treated to a lecture about how I should not have called this number. I was told they could not help me, further. I asked why was I directed to call this number, and was told that I should not have, I then asked how would I know not to call this number and I was just lectured on how it was a mistake to call this number, and his reply "It is a real thorn in our side that you would call this number". I confronted the agent, Steven, about their churlish, to which they made it clear that he has every right to act that way because I should not have called that number."
"I used this insurance company for about 4 months I was not happy with their service. Every time I had an issue I would call them and they would tell me to call the insurance company they didn't do anything for me having them as my agent I always had to handle everything on my own. The woman that answers the phone doesn't seem to have much knowledge of the business on the other hand the gentleman that answers the phone there has great knowledge of the business and of insurance policies"
