"Love the healthy selections, but the sandwich I got was not worth $9. I ordered the heirloom tomato and basil on foccacia. It literally had 1 piece of lettuce and 1 tomato on it...that's it."

"First of all the cause behind this place is great. Helping the community. Second the food and drinks are good which makes it worth the price tag. I enjoyed that I was able to enjoy a mocha, get homework done, and even bother the staff for a pen (since I lost mines). They are young people working hard with many saying they were in school as well. This is a good place to have a small meeting or even just grab a coffee"

"This is a great little cafe to grab some delicious food and support good work in Hartford. Take a book or from the library and enjoy a read on the patio or in the cafe with a nice treat! Great options for all kinds of diets. Some grab and go options too if you don't want to dine in."

"The Kitchen is part of a community outreach program. If that isn't enough, they also have really delicious food. Their bread is wonderful, so their sandwiches are, too. The menu changes with the seasons, which keeps it interesting. They have daily specials, soup, quiche and some sort of sandwich. I've always been happy with the soups. I had their Friday special Fish Tacos...very nice. But, if you don't want the special, you can't go wrong with the Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich. Their baked goods tend to be good, as well."

"This tiny lil coffee/sandwich shop is amazing! The staff is incredible and the food is even better. Many veggie/vegan options plus tons of coffee choices. The prices are a lil high but totally worth it, if the food wasn't incredible they'd get 3 stars but thier daily specials and sandwiches are great."
