"We got married last October and I am just getting around to writing a review. There was some turnover so our wedding planner was changed twice. The day of our wedding, we were assigned, I believe her name was Dee and she worked her butt off. I had to micromanage a little bit, but that's to be expected because I believe it was her first wedding on her own. The food is amazing and we were really excited for our guests to try everything. The unfortunate part was that there was definitely not enough staff to serve throughout the night. We had told Jenna that we would pay extra for more staff because we wanted to make sure everybody was constantly being offered food. We were told there would be enough, but there was not. The seafood bar was also constantly running out of lobster rolls, which was frustrating. We had numerous guests say they didn't even see half of our apps being passed. There was also a long gap between the salads and meals, which caused our guests to tell us their meals were cold. Only one bartender for 100 people was not enough as well. There was a long line all night waiting for drinks. The one thing I thought was nice about Coastal is that they don't automatically include the tip from the beginning. I really liked this because I personally think a tip is earned depending on how the service is. I did not like that it was mentioned numerous times that they don't include tip and the percentage they recommend. I was even offered "help"' with the math, if I needed it. I thought that was in poor taste. Coastal does a nice job, but I think if they paid a little more attention to detail, they would be amazing."
