"If you are reading the reviews from the others then they are most likely from unstatisfied people who had an unpleasant experience with this place. Sonit North is of course a Psychatric Residential for Teenager Males around 13-18 who are in need of placements from hospitals or higher care facilities. I might as well give an open and honest review from 8 months of experience at the place. The faculty and staff are supportive while still trying to keep everything in control as in most psychatric facilities, fights and unexpected situations can arise at any second. The job and main goal is to keep the residents safe which I feel like they do a great job at. There are times where things could’ve been handled a lot more effectively but that’s not always the facility’s fault at hand. The school and the system itself needs work but has shown improvement over time as the community does its best to throw in ideas and new activities are in place every month (Recreational/Therapeudic). Food stocks are usually consistent but suffers at points during events like storms/closings/etc. The main goal of this place is to give patients coming from a higher care (Hospitals/Detention/etc) and transitioning them back into daily routines which they achieve at doing. I’d give this place a review of 4/5 stars as it’s not perfect but an honest review coming from someone who has first hand experienced the facility to inform Parents or anyone interested in Solnit North for their child in need of rehabilitation and transition back into daily stable routines. [Solnit has two main campuses (North and South) as the North campus is mainly an all male residential facility]"
