Pediatric Care Center-Southington

"Today my daughter would be her first appointment with doctor Lisa at Southington office but instead the appointment happened with the nurse Casey without our consent or permission. I have 2 appointment confirmation for today with Dra Lisa at 2:20pm. I don't whom changed the appointment but it should be asked and informed to us. When Casey showed, she just said her name and started making questions to my daughter and at the end she said nice to meet you guys and left. We stayed inside de room more than 30 minutes waiting for Dr Lisa , the doctor we were expecting to see for this appt. After waiting for long time the nurse, nurse that checked my daughter vital signs, came to our room and said we are all set. I surprisingly asked for Dra Lisa and the nurse said my daughter was at the Casey schelude today. I even don't know who is Casey, I made appointment for Dra Lisa. My kids just start with her as a provider and this happened. I am so disappointed. It was very unprofessional. I feel like my rights have been stolen."

"Dr. Lisa is awesome (which is the reason for the 4 stars) but 8/10 if I call for a sick visit I’m told they don’t have anything and to go to children’s hospital or urgent care. This happens a lot as my children have severe asthma and it turns quickly. You should never turn away a sick child."

"My 3 children were seen here for about 2 years. If we didn't move out of state, they would still be there. Doctor Blumer was awesome with all of my kiddos. Especially my son who has adhd. He was always thorough and reassuring. The office staff was always helpful and always answered my questions even if I thought they were silly ones. We miss this office dearly. Liz, you rock! Thank you all!"
