"Dr Shue did a procedure on me which went very well It required a overnight stay in the MIddlesex hospital the next day I was all set to be discharged but Dr Shue left the hospital before sighning the papers for my release. I sat there for 8 extra hours waiting to be released until I finally threatend to remove my own IV was very upset about that aspect of services from Dr Shue"
"I saw very unprofessional PA today. I had an ultrasound done to check the veins on my legs. (Other person than PA did the ultrasound. Technician that did the ultrasound was very good). It seemed like PA did not looked thru the ultrasound carefully. When she came to the room to see me she said that I don’t have any vascular problems. Basically my veins on my legs are painful when touched. PA did not even care to take a look at the veins. She stared at me from a distance. Pure joke."
"I cannot speak highly enough of Doctor Megan Shue and her wonderful staff. I recently had surgery to correct a varicose vein issue - the process was pain free conducted in pleasant surroundings. The staff, from the charming young receptionist on arrival, through the Techs, Nurses to Doctor Shue herself were extremely professional, empathetic, caring, and downright decent... so refreshing in this rushed, rather impersonal, day and age. Wonderful folk doing a marvelous job."
"Angela Sanchez Wrote: Go somewhere else!!! I was seen in the emergency room for chest pain and shortness breath. As a part of my discharge, I am to follow-up with Dr. Albert Sam as my case was discussed with him on finding a Descending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm. Age 36. When calling to schedule an appointment, I spoke with Amanda, immediately you can hear the sharpness in her responses. I explain why I am calling, she then asks me "what was the measurements of the finding are?" I stated that I was unaware, she then states "oh, its real small". As if its nothing to worry about, and granted that may be true, ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! I then ask her for any advise she can give as I was feeling a lot of pain still in my chest, is it safe to wait for the appointment? She states "I am not clinically inclined to say but if it was anything serious they would have hospitalized you." Again, ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Treating me as if I do not matter! I called in again today to discuss my insurance as I was awaiting my cards, lets just say, if you do not have your cards present (understandable) they cannot treat you. If you do not pay upfront upon arrival for your visit, they will refuse you treatment. Not understandable as this was a referral from the ER from speaking with Dr. Sam himself (as stated to Amanda on the phone) and will pay any bills as I have been when they come in. Granted my paperwork states to get an appointment within two weeks of discharge, I will have to seek elsewhere as "my finding is so small and NOT serious" as Amanda stated. I cancelled my scheduled appointment and called back again to speak to someone about Amanda and got Kaniesha (I may be butchering the spelling of this name) who sounded sweet. She mentioned that Amanda was right next to her while I was on the phone (uncomfortable) and will let her manager "Cynthia" know of my concern and will pull up the recorded phone conversations (PLEASE DO) and go from there. Something tells me...This wont be followed up with and so I felt the need to write this and warn anyone who is suffering from something "Small or Big" you are not alone and shouldn't be treated a certain way just cause your situation isn't as serious as another. ANY illness, is an illness and inconvenient in ones life whether small or big! Get the help and treatment that you deserve and it begins with the initial phone call which you will not receive the concern to want to help when you do call and speak with Amanda! I work in hospitality for going on 15 years now and it begins with the first and last person you encounter with, Amanda is a horrible example of that! Don't be discourage by ones responses, just look elsewhere cause in times like this, the last thing you need is a snobby, no caring individual to handle your needs! Very disappointed, Angela Sanchez"
