"My husband, an army veteran, just went to see him for the first time. It took MONTHS to get him to finally seek help for his depression and PTSD. His previous doctor was nice but didn't really talk and usually just prescribed meds. My husbanded needs to TALK. He needed someone to baby step him to solutions after years of struggling. His PC sent him to Dr. LIN who questioned him with generic questions for 20 minutes then prescribed him stronger meds without even acknowledging that My husband wanted to talk. Sent him away saying he'll see him in a month. The end of the 20 minutes left.my husband feeling discouraged. I had to watch him try to keep it together as he realized he would continue to struggle and feel.lost because yet another doctor has no interest in hearing him speak. This is terrifying to me. He's deployed to Afghanistan twice, he was in almost 10 years. And here we have yet another person who couldn't be bothered to have a real conversation with him. He said he felt like his name was on some list that Dr. Lin had to get through and when he was done he would just say "next". This is unacceptable and it really breaks my heart."
