Reviews
"The receptionist was the only kind person there today during my visit. The doctor was absolutely condescending and lacking bedside manners. The nurse was also very abrupt. It costs nothing to be kind and when a question is asked, it can just be answered without making the patient feel stupid. You are there as a medical Professional to help your patients and guide them, not talk down to them. I work the in the veterinary field and we treat the animals with a lot more respect and kindness than you do with people. I understand the understaffing and fatigue but I would never take it out on another person especially in the workplace. I hate to write reviews wether good or bad, but I was left in such shock, that I had to. Worst experience ever."
"Plenty of staff to tell you how long the wait will be, plenty of nurses to see you to prep the one doctor once you’re in a room after a 2 hour wait, never enough doctors to meet the demand of patients. Last time I go if I have to wait 2 hours to see the doctor for 5 minutes. One a doctor sees you, follow up is excellent."
"I had read some pretty bad reviews about this particular City MD. Being it was close to my home and I really wasn’t feeling well I hesitantly went with no great expectations. When I arrived which was almost 6:00pm I was greeted by the front desk assistant ( I’m sorry I did not get her name) who was very pleasant. She asked me how she could help me. I explained my symptoms and asked to be seen by a physician. She did advise me there would be about a 2 hour wait. I said ok and then went to the kiosk to register. There were several people ahead of me and from speaking with another patient it had been packed prior to my arrival. I waited about 50 minutes and a medical assistant named Brianna brought me back to a room. Brianna was very nice and patient. She took my vitals and my history. Her computer crashed but she remained even toned and just picked up a pen and paper and continued her questions. She then swabbed me for Covid, Flu and Strep and told me the doctor would be right in. Within a few minutes Dr. Beachsm came in. She was as pleasant as can be especially delivering the news to me that I tested positive for Covid. She examined me, went over the protocol for isolation and asked me if I had any questions. She called in a prescription to my pharmacy and wished me well on my recovery. Despite the reviews I read I had nothing but praise for everyone that evening. Thank you!!"
"Every time I come back I remember why last time I said I shouldn’t - it’s only because of how close by I live that I’ve come. On this visit, I needed an X-ray. The front desk, nurse and x-ray tech were all very friendly and kind. The doctor? No. Very short. No bed side manner at all. No explanations. No instructions for care. Nothing. The x ray tech had to tape my toes to separate them for my x ray and he was gentle and caused very little discomfort. When the doctor buddy strapped my toes she was rough, yanking them apart, causing me to yelp and pull my foot back in reaction to the pain and then she continued to press down hard on my toes. She didn’t acknowledge my pain and did it again. I did not receive any instructions for care, and she left. Not the first time I’ve experienced poor bedside manner from doctors here and I see other reviews have said the same. It’s apparent why they are working in an urgent care franchise rather than able to do their own practice. Next time I won’t be back."
"We called because my son needed an x-ray. We were told to get there before 4 o’clock as the x-ray tech leaves at four. We live 15 minutes away and got there at 3:50. When we checked in, we were told we would not be able to get the x-ray because the tech leaves at 4 o’clock.I asked to see the doctor to see if she could evaluate my son quickly so he can get the x-ray before 4 o’clock. The doctor came out and said the x-ray tech had left. We were there for 10 minutes and nobody left the building. I asked when the tech left since we were sitting there the entire time and told to drive over here to get the x-ray. The doctor coldly told me they were short people and she couldn’t do anything and walked away.leaving my kid in pain and unable to get an x-ray with the x-ray technician still there. Terrible service. Terrible doctor. Not concerned with patients only about punching the clock. Go to PM pediatrics around the corner much better level of care."
