"Back in the day the practice was thorough and the staff was polite. Over the past 5 years I saw a decline in exams and bedside manner. Two years ago Dr Sica retired and it has declined at an extremely high rate. Rude and get em in an out without any bedside manner. Can't get prescriptions refilled in a timely fashion. To get an appointment for an illness not a checkup takes days and they tell you go to an urgent care center. I have reffered friends and family here and weve all moved on. Find another practice they are terrible"
"The administrative staff if incompetent, rude, and downright unprofessional. Every time you call for an appointment they make you feel like you are doing something wrong, and they are not very helpful. They try to push you to do a tele visit, go to the PRN or to the walk-in. I don’t know anyone who just goes to the Dr. because they have nothing better to do. Sometimes due to their long waits on the phone, and many hang ups when you are trying to schedule an appointment, I would ask someone else to call for me and it was never a problem, today I was told I couldn’t make an apt for my 21 yr. old child who is in school, because I’m only her emergency contact!! I’ve been going to this practice for 30+ years, and I am seriously considering going somewhere else, they are impossible to deal, and the last thing you want to hear when you are not feeling well is what they always start with “your Dr. is not available”. This has been going on for a while, but now it is getting ridiculous, they told me if you don’t feel well you can’t come in, so why have or go to a doctor if you can’t see them when you don’t feel well? I am fully vaccinated and because of where I work we are constantly being tested for COVID as is my child at the university."
"Their front office personal is one of the most unprofessional and rude team, I've dealt with. The doctors are fine but try getting past the receptionist- is an aggravating situation! Before you can get an word in edgewise, or get an answer to questions, you have to answer all their questions ( tone is curt, rude and lacking any customer service skills). Patients don't call a doctor's office to be treated so poorly, regardless of any office policy, ( a policy/availability can be explained in a proffesional manner, no one wants to be dictated to when they call to make a simple appoitment). That team needs to retrained, as they are hurting the finances of that practise. As for me, hasta la vista baby,...many other Doctor's offices I can bring my business to ( we are a family of 5)."
"Awesome conversation with the receptionist today. ! They have no record of my pharmacy contacting them to refill my prescription and since I did not know the name of my prescription and for some reason either I have no file or I have multiple prescriptions. Which I do not. I mentioned it was for high triglycerides yet still since I didn’t know the name I was told to contact my pharmacy , not an easy conversation. , when I asked the receptionist her name she said please hold. Moved me to another receptionist and I then asked her what the name of the other receptionist she put me on hold to go back to the original receptionist. Well awesome I then asked her her name again and she did not want to give me her name.what an attitude. There is no place for that I’m not happy at all at this point. I called the pharmacy back. They rambled off the multiple dates and times that they contacted my physician I called primed back. Spoke to another receptionist gave her the name of my script and she instantly finished my sentence pertaining to the script. So they knew what it was all along. Thanks for all the bs today. Perhaps the company should rewrite their mission statement. I will be looking for a new place to go."
"I have always had a good experience with Dr. Ciminiello however the office staff are rude and worse, incompetent . I needed my medical records released to my new primary care Dr. and had my husband bring the form directly to the office. One month later I went to my new Dr. No records. I called the office only to be told they don’t handle that and given a new number. I called that and no request to send records were sent to them. I realized at that point they just were just shoving me off to someone else. I called back and explained it again. You could probably sense I was irate but was not rude, did not yell but yet I was talked over and given the instructions to call my new Dr and just tell them to request them. I said I’d have to go into the office and sign the request so that made no sense to do that, I may as well download a new one and fax it myself. I got hung up on!"
