"Dr Flores would did not take my health concerns seriously. I was in my 30’s without previous health problems, and was a nurse. I went to Dr. Flores numerous times from October through March stating I was concerned about a growing, painless enlarged lump in my neck and intense red skin rash. He did not listen to me (at one point even told me I had “Cat Scratch Fever” even though I told him I didn’t own a cat or have any contact with one). When I brought up the possible diagnosis of Lymphoma to him, he quickly dismissed it. Fortunately, I went to a dermatologist in Trumbull who took the time to listen, had me in with the chief of ENT at Yale the next day, and within a week I had the diagnosis of Lymphoma. During my first chemo session, I received a call from Dr. Flores to tell me my labs “looked perfect”. Needless to say, he was rather quiet on the other end of the phone when I told him I was receiving my first chemo for Lymphoma. This is the first negative review I’ve ever given a doctor. He was kind, easy to schedule an appointment with, but did not listen. BEWARE."
