Concentra Urgent Care

"I had to come in to be seen for an OJI. The agents are very attentive up front. The nurses, doctors and Physical Therapist actually listened to my concerns and did everything they could to solve my problems or put me in the right direction for anything they couldn’t. Everyone had a smile and was very patient. Lastly I want to give a special shoutout to Mayra for making sure I got home safely after my appointment. She definitely knows her job and if you happen to work with her for any reason just know you’re in good hands. Make sure you stop in at Concentra on Main Street for any of your medical or urgent care needs!"

"I have been to this Concentra and the one in New Britain a lot and always had a bad experience and dreaded going when I had no choice to go. But this time my experience with Bryan changed my view and experience. He was so patient, caring and very detailed oriented. I had quite a few questions and with every question he was patient and directed me to where I needed to be with no problem . I believe every worker that comes through this facility should be trained by Bryan. Thank you so much again for all your help."

"For the life of me I can't remember her name. But she assisted me in my physical for the DOC. At first it was nerve wrecking to say the least. My she assured me that I would do just fine. She spoke to me not like a patient but like a friend. She absolutely put me at ease by the time we were done. 100% believe if not for her professionalism I would have failed my physical. Thank you so much. Truly sorry I cannot remember her name. But, she did wear glasses and was Puerto Rican. Thanks again."

"The place is a hot mess. I recommend going to a different location if possible. You will wait a very long time a get treated like a criminal for asking questions. I came last week 2 times around the times of 10-12pm to be told they aren’t taking any more walk ins the second time I came in I questioned why especially because I called each time before coming and they said they don’t stop taking walk ins until 3pm. The receptionist Angelica was so rude and had such a bad attitude because I asked a question. I then asked to speak to her manager who she said name was Andrea who she supposedly couldn’t find. I told her no worries that I would call, I called later that day to inform Andrea about my bad experience to be told she was in a meeting. I left a name and call back number to not receive a follow up. I decided to give this location another chance Today 11/6 I arrived at around 9:50am. I waited patiently I didn’t get serviced until 12 pm by the medical assistant and 12:47pm by the doctor. I also witnessed the medical receptionist Angelica argue back and forth with a patient because he asked about the wait time and if he could schedule an appointment. The medical assistant Melissa was great she was apologetic about the wait and assured me that she would try to get me seen ASAP she was also super professional and had a great attitude.I also explained to her a little bit about my bad experience and she was open ears. I also had a great experience with the provider Jen she was super nice and provided fast professional care. This place needs to work on having have better customer service."

"Visited this location a few weeks ago for an injury that occurred at work. PA Ferrel was very helpful and identified my injury and quickly sent me over to the PT department to get treatment. They were AMAZING! Alison was my physical therapist. She was kind and compassionate, helping me every visit with patience and reassurance. Mayra from the PT department was also very sweet and helpful; always making my day better by the time I left. Thank you all for supporting me with my recovery!"
