"Hands down the worst experience I've ever had at an urgent care center. I chose this place because I was having trouble finding appointments to get covid testing. They had tons of available appointments, so I made three consecutive appointments for me and my two children (also had to bring my 1 year old along). So I show up with three young kids, fill out the paperwork for each, and then am told to wait in my car because it might be a while. We weren't seen until a full HOUR after our appointment time. Why on earth do they take appointments if they are just going to throw us in line behind all the walk-ins?? My kids were hungry and restless waiting in the car for a full hour. Then, hours later, my rapid results were still not in. The website said they would be available within 20 minutes, the doctor told me by the end of the night. Neither was true. I ended up having to go back and forth with the online chat system the next day (15 hours later) to get my results emailed to me because they were apparently complete but not appearing in the patient portal. In the meantime, I was trying to get them on the phone to ask about my results, and I was on hold for a full hour and no one picked up. We are in the middle of a pandemic. This is just insane to me that this level of difficulty getting a simple rapid covid test is supposedly acceptable. People need reliable appointment times, testing options that do not take an hour+, and reliable, expedient results. If it's this difficult, people will not bother getting tested, and continue to spread it."
