"Barbara helped me with a dispute and was amazing during the whole process. I was successful in my case and I highly recommend her for anything related to your future needs. She was very responsive and helpful in understanding different issues and options on the table. She knows the law and was good and articulate with her communication."
"Very Helpful. Would recommend. Has a great understanding of the law on unemployment."
"Called three times over a month ago to inquire whether attorney would be willing to take case. Finally spoke about matter on 4th call attempt. Her tone is professional; however, her repeated statements of being busy with so many cases should have been a red flag for me. Nevertheless, I gave my docket number and expected to hear her decision within a couple of weeks. Today, a month later, I called (using my instinct) to discover decision. Well, first (and I am summarizing), she asked if I were one of the people who she had to call back. Red flag #2. I had refreshed her memory about my situation and that I gave her my docket number to review case. IMMEDIATELY, she (1) states that she is going on vacation, (2) states that she would not be able to take the case...after a month had passed. I addressed the delay and failure in contacting me, which was responded with a response someone would do to ignore. Red flag #3. An earlier rejection would have been helpful, and most definitely ethically professional. But, as Maya Angelou once said, "If some shows you who they are the first time, believe them." Sad thing is she was recommended by someone whom I highly respect professionally who zealously is pro-civil rights. Lesson learned."
