"Absolute rudest NP I've encountered, was concerned more about the timing of her appointments than the patient's health. I was five minutes late and stood at the computer attempting to check my son in for 5 minutes. The lobby was empty, and I could hear her chatting on the phone. Came out and said, yeah, I can't see you. I would only have five minutes with you. Spent more time arguing about how she couldn't than actually just seeing my son. Complaining about how they aren't allowed to have morwntja. Fifteen minutes and I should have come earlier. Well if she would have asked I could have told her it was from traffic. She could have started with kindness to an already frazzled mom of two sick kids She never asked if he was okay, could we possibly come back or help us to locate another facility or time ( she has plenty to do that but more interested in arguing), JUST RUDE. Knowing what I know now, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to be in her chair. I would definitely suggest that whatever patient empathy she may have had going into the field, she backtrack and find it or take a class on how to treat patients."
"Provider did not have a comforting bedside manner. She gave me less than half the dosage called for, for a double ear infection which caused me to get worse over the next 4 days. It is much better to go to a typical urgent care."
"Im not sure who the provider was but she took a look at our two year old thoroughly and quickly to rule out an ear infection when we’d originally booked an appointment for her covid vaccine. If she hadn’t we would have needed to go thirty minutes away to the nearest pediatric urgent care. Appreciated her accommodating us."
"Waited over 45 min after showing up for my 1pm appointment for a DOT physical. Never saw one single staff member. Called me at 145 on the phone and said "did you fill out a family history?", which I was never provided. When I told her I was leaving since they went on lunch from 2-3pm she said "oh so you're not coming in today? Great, you can reschedule" and then just hung up."
"*Horrendous* experience. On Monday I went to get a COVID test, not realizing that I signed up for a rapid test, I went to and waited at the wrong window when I arrived(That part’s on me obviously) partly glad because I was warned by the person I spoke to that I needed to stay in my vehicle until I was called otherwise I’d get screamed at (which is a strange protocol to me...why wouldn’t you require the patient to call on arrival like EVERY OTHER medical facility does right now?). After I parked I noticed a missed call which turned out to be from the minute clinic so I quickly called back. I was told that the call was to let me know to come in but that it was 10 minutes passed my appointment(implying there wasn’t time) I explained how I went to the wrong window and that I was told to go to the right spot and wait for a call. If they truly couldn’t perform the test at that time I would’ve understood and left, however based off of what transpired, it seemed more likely that the person working just wanted to get out of doing my appointment. I was still accepted for my appointment but the rough handling plus the unnecessary attitude, I really wish she wouldn’t. Roughly an hour later I received a call about my results, i was out and about so unable to answer my phone. The voicemail left was confusing, it told me they would call back later, I had specifically checked the box when making the appointment that I would like for them to leave the results in the voicemail. Within 2 hours from that time, I received two more calls, but no voicemails. Once home later on I was able to check my results in MyChart, I also received an automated text with a link to my results. Now today, Wednesday, I come home to a passive-aggressive letter, sent UPS Express, from this clinic essentially saying how they’ve tried so many times to contact me but can’t, with my results(which were not concerning or urgent). If I had issues getting my results, I would’ve called by now. There’s absolutely no reason for this behavior. I’ve never had so much attitude thrown at me, and have never had such overboard behavior from any minuteclinic before. I also happen to know that once you open the text link or view your results in MinuteClinic, that they are able so see it as “received.” Complete poor handling and poor attitudes, in addition to wasting money just to continue to lash out at me."
