"From start to finish it was easy dealing with and communicating with Ohana. They did everything they said they would and more. Many little touches that really made a difference in the end result. Throughout the job, as unexpected issues came up with the house, they were quick to come up with solutions to make it work. They take pride in their work and it shows. I’m so happy with the way everything turned out. I’m sure I will be using Ohana again in the future."
"I REALLY wish this was a 5 star review, but unfortunately for Ohana, they have a long way to go before they're the reliable and honest family business that they set out to be... Ohana was hired to remodel my brother's kitchen. And although there were some inevitable hurdles along the way, the kitchen was torn apart and rebuild again according to plan. However in the final phases of the project, Ohana bailed on the job... And the quality of work really speaks for itself - mouldings were lost and/or forgotten, knobs misplaced and never replaced, the finer details and finishing touches that you'd expect from a tradesman who takes pride in their work were nowhere to be found... Upon trying to get a hold of Ohana after the job was "completed" has proven to be a fool's errand. As a matter of fact, all of my family members who were friends with Brandon on social media have been unfriended and blocked! To me, that speaks volumes about the lack of professionalism and respect he has for his customers. In a world full of scumbags, scammers, and cons, it's all too easy to find yourself on the wrong side of bad buisness. I hope that Ohana finds success in separating themselves from the practices that sink small companies and is able thrive in the future. Despite any gripes about how the experience with Ohana was, at the end of the day when it comes to home improvements the work really does speak for itself. In this case, the work was truly subpar..."
"I can't say enough good things about Ohana Home Improvement. When my husband and I bought our house, it was a total fixer-upper. The previous owners did a crappy job painting the house, painting all the trim the same color as the house. It was a somewhat dreary gray color and pretty blah looking; all the trim was painted the same gray color as the house. Over the years, the paint started to peel off and it started looking really awful, but painting our house had to take a backseat to other expenses. We finally decided we HAD to do it, and I'm so glad we found and subsequently hired Ohana Home Improvement to do the job. They worked within our budget, were great with communication (this is HUGE for us), and did a fantastic job. Neighbors were coming down the street just to comment on what a great job they were doing and how great our house looked. I know our house looked awful before and I was embarrassed by it, but now I think it's beautiful and am proud of it. They really did such a great job and were so great to work with. We plan to hire them again and again for more home improvement projects."
"My experience with Ohana was fantastic! I utalized them on a short notice clean out and maintenance upkeep of an apartment. They did a Great job cleaning room by room very efficiently and payed attention to detail. Also they spackled all indents and holes in the walls sanded them down nice and flush. The apartment looked better than when I moved in. It was a great experience working with small local business."
"Our first appointment was cancelled due to his truck having issues and then at the last minute the next appointment was also cancelled. My husband didn't want to use Ohana, but I wanted to give him a shot. We finally met (he was 20 minutes late even with a 2 hour window) but I still wanted to give him a try. Finally we, agree a price and payment schedule. We had a start date set and shook hands on the deal. I spent a few weeks arranging things and emailing details back and forth. I told all the other people who had quoted me that I had found someone and then at the last minute, he cancelled on me and said he had another job. I would not recommend this person. He is unreliable and untrustworthy and his word means nothing."
