"It was my first time seeing Dr. Patrick. The staff was amazingly friendly. I was greeted with a smile and professionalism. Dr. Patrick was friendly as well and took his time to explain everything that was being done. I very pleased with the visit. Looking forward to my follow up."
"Disabled, Chronic / “invisible” illness patients beware. I have been chronically ill for a while and in seeking some more answers about my condition, I was sent to this practice. Upon bringing up a condition I was suspected of, the provider told me that condition was for “really sick people”. I may not look really sick, but had the provider taken a thorough medical history or asked me, I had ten years of files with me showing that exact issue. As a chronic patient, it’s pretty easy to tell within the first five minutes or so if an office visit will be a waste of time and unfortunately this office was. I don’t usually comment on this, although I should, but one thing in particular solidified the fact that I was going to be leaving a bad review. As I sat in office waiting on my test results, I got to hear the staff, at least three women, laughing about a patient who had just called and happened to be deaf. These women seemed ready to “go off” on the patient for being “difficult” and not wearing her hearing aids. None of these women know if the patient could afford hearing aids none of these women stopped to think that maybe people with disabilities don’t always want to use aids and guess what - they don’t have to. One of the ladies spoke up and said “hearing aids pick up so much background noise and it can be annoying at times so people take them out.” My jaw dropped when I heard the other respond, “what, so the rest of the world has to suffer just because they don’t want to hear some background noise?” The vibe of the practice was already off and as I sat there hearing these women laugh at this differently abled patient, it took a lot for me to not leave the practice immediately, mid test. I’m horrified. The way the staff were so comfortable having this disgusting conversation about a PATIENT at all, and the audacity to have such a conversation when other patients were just feet away. I will never go here again."
