"I am very unhappy with how my divorce case with Keith Brown was handled overall. I am unhappy with the strategy, lack of timely communication on multiple occasions, and exacting billing practices. Keith did not help me manage my ex who delayed getting an attorney. Instead he wasted my retainer drafting documents and discussing settlements that would never be signed. When a settlement was finally reached, the initial draft managed to “land in Keith’s spam” for weeks. Keith’s delayed reviews put me at additional risk. I had to call his office from a vacation just to forward the final signed document. Keith’s billing practices are exacting. The minimum hourly fee for sending and receiving all e-mails, regardless of legal content or length, is .10 hours ($47 at the time of writing), and the minimum fee to review an attachment is .20 hours ($95 at the time of writing). If you prefer asynchronous communication as I do, this fee structure is not a good fit and was not transparent at the outset."
