"UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES Workman came to “diagnose” the problem for a 95.00 non refundable fee which was clearly explained and agreed to by us. Upon completion of the assessment, the workman explained that he could repair it for about 800-900 dollars or we could buy a new built-in Thermador refrigerator for $12,000. We opted for repair. Two visits later and no repair success, the senior technician said that it’s not fixable and Christina the owner will ”likely” reimburse us for the cost of the unsuccessful repair. Many months later and multiple email requests mostly unanswered by the owner, Christina Mucci, there was a 400.00 reimbursement given of our 1000 dollar payment. So 600.00 dollars later, we now have to buy a new refrigerator! There are a lot of honorable appliance vendors out there, this one is not one of them. By the way, they have several names to the business: Appliance parts and sales of Westchester or 5th Avenue Appliances"

"Exceptional service! I had an issue with my refrigerator and was unsure what to do. They were kind enough to offer suggestions over the phone that could save me money by fixing it myself, even if it meant losing out on business. When I eventually decided it’s best to just have their repairman come and take a look himself, he came earlier than expected, fixed the issue within 5 minutes, and didn’t even charge me any labor fees (just the initial travel and consultation fees that they told me about from the start). They even called me the next day to check and see if my fridge was giving any more problems. They were extremely kind and helpful. The next time I have any issues with my appliances, I know who to call ☺️"

Today, besides calling quickly for payment, the wait was over 31/2 hrs for a service person without explanation or apology. The office said the service person didn't answer his phone and they had no idea where he was. Passing the blame to a service person is not a sound policy for running a business and giving confidence to the customer, quite the contrary."
