Alan D. Lichtenstein - Real Estate Attorney

"Lawyer Alan and assist Allison are are “two peas in a pod” when it comes to being obnoxiously rude and not taking responsibility for their actions. As the client I was blamed for all their mistakes and I AM NOT A Lawyer!! Their favorite lines are”I Told You to bring” this and that or “I already Informed you thoroughly!”. They have zero patience and so much disregard for their clients! The first time I spoke to Allan, I told him that I needed someone who is aggressive enough to defend me during my not-so-simple real-estate transaction. He swore he was this person- but he doesn’t even come close! In fact, there were times that he defended the seller more than me, the buyer! I openly spoke to him over the phone about the specific instances that he did not come to my defense and I requested that from that from that point, he begin to really represent my interests. He became defensive and continued not to communicate with me. Furthermore, Alan nor Allison explain ANYTHING- EVER! In fact, at my closing, the “bank attorney” explained more to me about essential legalities, in less than 2 hours, than Allan did over the last 4 months since I hired him! To continue with specific examples, Allison is completely incompetent and made mistake after mistake; let’s just say she’s not the smartest tool in the shed and by the end of the 4 months, it was obvious that she has absolutely no knowledge about the digital world that we live in. Luckily, I do, but she blatantly blamed ME for such things as not printing things out “the right way”! (Btw, even the mortgage bank could not print it out the way that she sent my power of attorney attachment) - yet she claimed that I printed it wrong! She obviously did not have her own POA, so she tried to find a generic one online, hence the margins were off when she tried to attach it as a Word doc! I absolutely do not recommend Alan Lichtenstein’s law office because he does not effectively listen to his clients legal needs. He also never fully explains essential information to, or properly defends his clients when the opposing side is being unreasonable; he won’t even try to negotiate on his clients’ behalf! My realtor negotiated more than my lawyer did! This pair is disrespectful, rude and all too quick to put blame on everyone else, especially the client, for EVERYTHING!"
