"Dr. Ferriter is the only reason why I keep coming back. He’s genuinely one of the most conscious doctors I’ve had. I really like him as my doctor. But he is extremely booked up. So getting an appointment in can take up to a year in advance which is ridiculous itself. The nurses have always been good at what they do. But personally, I don’t like the staff who run the front of the office. They’re rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful. A job that is required to speak to the the clients coming in and out. Or answering phone calls, should have people who are good at it or friendly at least (the bare minimum). If you’re going to be nasty, consider a new job career. Context: The person I talked to was so rude and scolded me on the phone when I had a question and needed help. If that’s how they talk to clients, they need to go back to training or be fired. I run a business and would never let my employees talk to clients in that manner. I spoke in a neutral tone. She gave me an attitude right away. I needed help with a matter but she spoke over me like I was inconveniencing her time. It’s literally your job to help me? I’m fulfilling my appoints this year but if I keep getting these bad experiences here I’m gone. I don’t care how good of a doctor I have. To have employees like that is completely unprofessional and makes the practice look bad."
"I have had a great experience with my care at ProHealth in Bethel. Dr. McGrade and the nurses are thorough, polite and respectful. I had issues with my last insurance company and the office staff went above and beyond to help resolve it. They always make me feel at ease and reassured."
"Incompetent and rude. They had my partner on a crazy med regimen that didn’t address her issues, and were dismissive when we brought up problems. Unhelpful reception that doesn’t respect their patients. The office manager was nice when we went to her with serious issues we were having with reception, but the whole practice is just a mess. We switched to a much better practice an hour away so she can get good, attentive, respectful healthcare. Cannot believe the ineptitude of everyone that works at this practice."
"My experience was a positive one. Dr. Ferriter was attentive, heard me and was very thorough. The staff were nice and I had no problems. First time I went there and now I have many issues with them. This was my experience until I received my EOB from my insurance company after my physical. I went back for a second visit and was informed that I had a balance. When I asked what balance, I just had a physical. Apparently, I was being charged for the physical. I have recorded conversations in which they can't even explain why I was overcharged. My husband, daughter and myself were overcharged for physicals in which they even added services they never rendered for example; charged for drawing bloods on my husband and he went to Quest to have his bloods drawn. I called the insurance company, reported them and had to write lengthy letters explaining their fraudulent practices. We will be switching providers. They should be investigated for their horrible fraudulent practices. If this is how you try to get rich its not good practice. They just lost 3 patients."
"I went here for 15 years seeing Dr. Finnerty. He was an excellent doctor, he always took time to fully listen to and examine you during appointments and was always responsive to electronic messages and follow-ups. I will say it was a better overall practice and experience before it became Pro Health, but honestly overall no real complaints in 15 years until Dr. Finnerty announced his retirement. The office had cancelled a scheduled physical during the height of the pandemic, which I totally get. However, when I called to reschedule my appt after things calmed down he was planning to retire and had no openings. Fine, no problem, except I wasn't allowed to see another doctor in the practice for a physical -- my choices were see the PA or wait 9 months for his replacement who was still finishing his residency?!?!?! This was a bit shocking after 15 years of going there - I get they don't want everyone to jump ship to other doctors in the practice, but not allowing a long-term patient to schedule a one-time appt with an actual Dr?!?!? I even called back to talk to the office manager a few days later and got the same spiel. So I found another dr at a different practice, we'll see how that goes."
